Garbage price. Vitamix just had refurbs with warranties for $299. And the picture is the 750, not the 780.

This is not refurbished and the price is for 780. Do you have any other place that sells this for less?

Can you please tell me if there is an equivalent model sold in Costco for price comparison?

Agree. There are reconditioned 780s currently going for $399 on Vitamix. Extended warrantly option available

Costco does not sell Pro version. The best one Costco has is 7500 with 32-Oz dry grind container.

Isn't this getting old reconditioned vs new? There is a reason why those are sold for a lower price. If you have new 780 at this price, please post. Otherwise, the next best from a reputed seller is 640.

Yeah, but refurbs aren't usually almost half off. They work like new, look new, and have a 5 year warranty. You're not going to convince many of us that paying 80% more for new vs. a refurb is worth it.

Check your math - it is 30% more for new (140/400). Not sure how you came up with 80% off.

Lots of people very recently bought this refurb for $300. yours is $540 (not even figuring tax). $540 is exactly 80% more than $300.

Last year, I bought the brand new 780 at Williams Sonoma Outlet for $399.97. It was posted on SD. Yes, I know that we don't have a time machine, but I also bought a reconditioned 780 directly from Vitamix for $299. I will definitely not going to buy this one (over $500). Like someone mentioned earlier, the factory reconditioned is almost brand new, and got 5 years warranty.
