Just saw this on amazon. It's the best price for the chocolate I've seen in quite a while.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1

$34.55 for 5 lbs of rich chocolate flavor, single shipment.
You can save an extra $2 if you do subscribe & save too.
They also have the 10 lb bags on sale, but getting 2 x 5 lbs is a better deal.

Like an earlier post said, that was for Iso 100. It didn't ship and I had called customer service. They were able to select a different flavor for me and ship it for the same price. $20 for 5lbs of Dymatize protein isolate, niceeeee

A pound of protein product is only as good as the proportion that is protein. In this case, protein is 1.86cent per gram, which is ~50% (or more) expensive than most supplementhunt or myprotein offerings (which are frequently ~1.1 cent per gram of protein. )

Playing devil's advocate, his metric is valid if he's referring to only the same brand/type. If he's a lover of dymatize elite for whatever reason, whether he uses his per lb or your per protein gram calculation the resulting numbers will be the same.

Your calculation is proper when cross-comparing brands/types. Problem is different brands/types of protein powders are not the same, AT ALL. Even whey vs whey, casein vs casein, etc. Different tastes/textures, ingredients, purposes, sometimes some are special types (iirc "iso 100" is low lactose or something).

This is a whey blend with whey concentrate being the primary source. Concentrates have more lactose remaining after processing. I'd stick with a 100% whey isolate if you're sensitive to lactose. Try Fairlife milk if you have it in your area too. They filter all the lactose out and the protein goes up significantly cause of the filtering process.
