No, as long as you are flying on the days the flights are cheap.

Just booked a flight in January with Singapore Airlines (one of the best) for 414 a seat round trip non stop. Make sure to use Momondo for the best prices after using google flights for checking dates.

I ended up using an agency called Exploretrip. You can use code "WINTER" for 15 bucks off on this site as well.
Have you used the agencies off of momondo before? I've heard that a lot of the affiliated sites are pretty shady. They'll charge your card for that low price and since they can't find a flight for that cheap, later they'll ask for another $200-300 to book your flight. And if you wanna cancel it's big pain in the ass.

Yea after doing further research you're right, they're known to be shady. I've edited my post and I wouldn't recommended using them. I went out on a limb as they have an A rating on BBB but I guess that means nothing as there are plenty of bad reviews out there.

I will say that I checked my booking already and it's confirmed and it even let me choose my seats already which was odd. Hopefully it all works out as my charge is still pending.

Otherwise direct pricing from Singapore Airlines is only about 40 dollars more.
