I love this thing.
At this price, I'm thinking about getting a spare for the day when mine eventually dies.

That's a great price. This used to be $60 then has hovered around $45, with lots of sales over the years. This is the lowest I've seen it in a while. Great for MMOs or if you want a lot of programmable buttons.

Not really. IMO it's a little too big and heavy for shooters. It's perfect for MMOs though.

I have 3 of these. I love being able to program all of the buttons for those games that have a bazillion hot keys (mechwarrior online etc) . This is for the natural "palmer" mouse holders out there.

I used the G600 and G502 for first person shooters. G600 is a more casual mouse for MMO players and has a lot of button combinations for that game play, but when I tried to use it for FPS, the sensor isn't as accurate and felt like it had drag when trying to be precise in moving my crosshair.

I switched to the G502, playing CSGO, I felt the sensor was more accurate to where I needed to get headshots and one-tapping was easier to do. You can also adjust the weight of this mouse versus the G600.

Yeah, unfortunately the scimitar didn't have as big of a discount, as it is smaller.
