LG OLED 65 OLED65B7A At Video Only for 1799 +tax matching frys.

Pay 90+tax at Costco to get 3 years warranty from square trade. Pay with a Citi card to get 1 year extra.

Beats the Costco deal (has Atmos though) by 400+

Video Only's return policy is horrible. Store credit only (no refunds) if you open the box.

They are upfront about it. If you plan to return, then go somewhere else.

Citi adds 2 years of warranty- so it'd be 6 total with the LG factory warranty, 3 years from ST via Costco warranty, and 2 years Citi.

The ATMOS thing is irrelevant if using an external sound system- as anybody would be if they cared about ATMOS.

Oh wow... I thought Citi only adds 1 year extra... thanks for clarifying!

no, it does not.

here's the link for the 3 year ST warranty on costco.com-

When Does Coverage Start

5 Years Total Protection for your TV purchased at a Costco warehouse or from Costco.com
The first 2 years of warranty are covered by Costco or the manufacturer. The 3rd through the 5th years are covered by SquareTrade.

4 Years Total Protection for your TV purchased at any other authorized US retailer
The first year of warranty is covered by the manufacturer. The 2nd through the 4th years are covered by SquareTrade.

So the ST warranty does not start on TVs purchases from non-costco sellers until AFTER the LG factory warranty of 1 year is up... or AFTER both the LG warranty and the 2nd-year Costco warranty is up if you buy from Costco.

Then you get 3 years from ST.

Then the 2 year Citi warranty would kick in after that, for 6 years total coverage if you didn't buy the TV from costco, or 7 total years if you did.

Is ST worth it for this, thinking about getting it. I did use the Costco Citi card, so I already have 1+2
