**Improvised a post by BornSupercharged regarding CardCash promotion for HP products! To get this offer (or up to an additional 12.16% off on your HP purchase) see the below instructions. Please note that this trick is a YMMV kinda of deal.

For Black Friday, HP is offering $250 off and selling ENVY 13-in 4K Touch Screen for $949.99 - $10 coupon (REDEEM86) = $939.99 before taxes. Upgraded screen resolution from default option. Specifications:
- Intel Core i7-8550U (1.8 GHz, up to 4 GHz, 8 MB cache, 4 cores)
- 13.3" diagonal 4K IPS multitouch-enabled edge-to-edge glass (3840 x 2160)
- Onboard 8 GB DDR4 Memory
- 256 GB SSD
- Windows 10 Home 64

To make the above deal sweeter, purchase HP eGift Cards from CardCash:
- HP eGift Cards sold for 11.58% off
- 5% off on CardCash gift card purchase with BLACKFRIDAYSALE (deal ends Nov 26)
- https://www.cardcash.com/buy-gift-cards/discount-hewlett-packard-hp-cards/ [cardcash.com]
- Can buy $939.99 worth of gift cards for $789.58

I purchased in total $1000 in gift cards (10 x $100 eGift Cards) for $839.99 to cover $998.74 which includes sales tax of the purchase.

KEY INFORMATION
***Important!!! HP only accepts up to 5 gift cards per transaction. To get around this...
Go to the link below to use the 10 gift cards to buy 2 x $500 eGift Cards from HP:
http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-...-gift-card

***Important!! Make sure to select option to receive the gift card by EMAIL instead of a physical address.

It will take up to 24 hours for HP to process your new gift card order (took 23 hours when I did this). Once you receive your gift card email, purchase your laptop. You can do this for any HP purchase. Requires some manual work and basic math to figure out how many gift cards need to be purchased though.

***Very Important!! CardCash DOES NOT ALLOW FOR REFUNDS. Ensure that you calculate for correct number of eGift Cards. As at 11/25 there are $100 and $50 gift card options.

There's enough time to go through all this before HP's Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals and CardCash's promotion end. Good luck!

EDIT: After posting this deal, I'm seeing comments that the gift card website isn't taking gift cards as payment method. If the link doesn't work, call HP's sales center to manually push through the transaction.

I tried asking their sales rep via chatbox but no firm answer on tht one. I'm hoping I can add another 8GBs down the road.

I tried this trick and my order was rejected. I now have to wait until tomorrow to talk to HP to go through a verification process. This is definitely a YMMV deal.

Had the same happen to me. When I tried purchasing another card with the gift cards from CardCash, HP cancelled it and the number the Support rep had me call said I couldn't buy a gift card with gift cards. Will try calling in again tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear that the trick isn't working for you...I'll edit the post to reflect this. Call HP's sales center to ask them to manually consolidate the gift card. Even with the website, it took 23 hours, so if possible put in the request ASAP so your card is consolidated before Cyber Monday deals go away.

Use gift card means to lose 10% cashback and extend warranty/ price match/ purchase protection from cc. Returns mean end up with gc. So... think before you buy.

Dealing with these gift card deals always gets tricky. OP, prepare yourself for a lot of complaints from frustrated people trying to replicate your method lol

I believe it's for this reason that most people forego posting these types of "deals"

Edit: Prime example is the post above mine lol

The scaling on this will be horrendous. Never get 4k on a screen smaller than 15.6"

Huge PAIN IN THE A$$

Personally I would go for a 10% cashback from on of these sites easily found online and save the damn headache plus messing up/complicating returns etc.

Hot deal I think if you do it the way I suggested. Not worth the time and trouble otherwise.
