A better deal than the one posted a day or two ago at $260.

Edit: To add my comment here:

I contacted amazon and asked what the difference was between this item and https://www.amazon.com/Vitamix-53...f=ast_p_ep and they told me it was the same, and that I found a better deal. They also told me that this was covered under a 5 year warranty.

If I hadn't already spent so much money on BF I'd be in for one, lowest price I've seen.

This is very tempting but agreed it's very confusing with the used, refurbished (which would of had to be used) etc. Does anyone know if they offer the same 10 year warranty with these? I did see where it says some products may not be covered under original manufactures warranty but i would think ViaMix would stand by their product. I may have to do a little research first.

Just from my own research & experience... Anything bought used from Amazon Warehouse isn't eligible for Manufacturers warranty. Might be able to get around it by sending warranty card and listing that you received as a gift.

Also, the refurbished Vitamix's typically get a 5 year warranty from the mfg. Hope that helps!! 😊

Thanks, I would think the company would offer some type of manufactures warranty since they do on their own refurbs.

Good deal on this. Don't forget it's the 2.2HP motor and the low profile jar. Lowest I've ever seen. What sort of appliances do you know of that come with a 5 year warranty, especially refurbed?

It says that for the certified refurbished, not purchased from Warehouse deals. I bought a 55 inch TV from Warehouse, listed as used, without any coverage via Amazon and at about 32 days, it got the so called blink of death. Could not return, could not get Mfg warranty. Just sharing!!
I really want to buy one of these, but experience tells me- no warranty.

Good point. I would call Amazon to get some clarification.

I'm about 90% confident these are certified refurbished units that would've been returned to Amazon from the original certified refurbished purchaser. This could be from buyers remorse among other things. Some have probably been used, others probably just sent back.
