Seems like the best deal achieved during this past summer. But I'm going to probably hold out for the self-propelled one, unless this bundle becomes cheaper...

Really great deal on the 80v. I have the Kobalt version, and it's a fantastic mower.

I grabbed the 16" 40v from Walmart last week for $174. Is this 21" 80v wayyyyy better? My yard is pretty small usually take 20 min to mow it with a 21" push gas mower? Is it worth the extra 120 bucks for the 80v and 21" deck?

Yeah on a flat lot it's probaby great. If you have a hill it may be pushing it - no pun intended

I just need a 40v battery and charger. Anyone willing to strike a deal with me to make you get a great deal on just the mower?

I'm curious to know how the 17" compares to the 16" from walmart for about the same price. For a small I'm d like mine that also takes 20 min, I'd rather stick with a small mower

If one gets the mower how will one operate it without the battery and charger.

Some people already have batteries from the other tools in the greenworks lineup. These prices are about what just the mower (without the batteries) normally runs.

I used the 80V before. they are so light compared to gas engines. very easy to push and maneuver. i wouldn't wait for self propelled. seems like another drain on battery. if you have significant hills not sure two wheel drive would even help much.
i wouldn't recommend this for anyone with more than 1/3 acre. <.25 acres and this is a great option. i have .45 acres and i returned it after a month. took too many charges to finish and the bagging capability is below average. it cut well, tho. wanted to keep it because it's so easy to push, super easy to store, no maintenance, quiet, but was too frustrating for my size yard.
