If you guys are worried about run time on the 650 and 450VA, then maybe use those for your modem/router/networking gear instead? All the UPS deals were pretty solid this year, might as well use them for something since you got a great deal on them, no? Anyway, I use 650's for each of my PCs and I get about 10 minutes of run time during an outage. Shoot, I think one of them is a 550 and it works well enough for a graceful shutdown. If you're going to want something to give you a lot of run time while your CPU/GPU is pegged at 100% though, for sure you want something in the 1000VA range.

I checked and it's not pure sine wave. Not a deal breaker for some circumstances, but apparently iMacs don't like it (will just shut down) per the testimonial I read in Amazon's questions section. I would offer that it might be a good idea for a home theater setup, but I'm really uninformed when it comes to electronics.

Damn, I was hoping this model was eligible for the extra 15% back (on top of 5% base) when using a Prime Visa or Store card but it's only the 1300VA & 425VA models which aren't even a deal. Previously, the 425VA model after 20% back in points, was the same price as BestBuy that went OOS, but now even that has went up. Meh

Regardless, this is still a good deal.

i get the sorry we cannot ship to your selected address message.

any way around this?

i have only received this message once before on a huge order (weight).

does amazon just not ship apc or ups units to certain states? maybe a battery issue?

weird because best buy ships these units to my home no problem. unfortunately i can't get anyone on the phone or chat at best buy to price match because it is late sunday night...i am assuming

I see it in the page, but where can I see a full listing of all 20% eligible items?
