Should I get this? All I want is an SSD that has a good lifespan. It offers a three year warranty but doesn't mlc last longer than TLC?

There is conflicting info whether this will work with Mac book pro 13" Early 2011.

Can any one share any info on their compatibility?

I don't see why it won't. I would honestly buy from Amazon instead and shell out that tax because if it isn't compatible, you can just return for free if you know what to say.

In for one from Amazon - not sure how much cheaper these are going to get. Could always return if something better comes along tomorrow.

by itself yes, but the controller and cache on an SSD can greatly affect endurance - this drive is rated for 100TBW which is greater than some MLC SSDs

I read from the reviews that the WD 3D NAND SSD offers much better performance than the Non-3D kind.
Obviously you're not going to get as much space, but take that into consideration. The newer 3D NAND ones offer nearly Samsung speed where the older ones aren't close.
