Stainless steel generally is always better than non stick. Only certain food and dishes that non stick will be better

For the price this is probably the best set you can get. I bought mine at $180 and they've been a pleasure to use.

Can someone tell me please if this would be over kill for a family of just two. We won't make huge meals I'm not sure if this will be too big. Thanks

It's a great set. I got mine for $140 from Macy's. Just have to follow some simple cooking directions to keep them in tip-top shape.

I don't think it would be overkill, assuming you like to cook a decent amount. I've used this set plus a couple bigger pans now that our family has grown. The pans in this set, for the most part, aren't quite big enough to do meal prep for 4 people, in my opinion.

Aside from that, the quality for the cost is about as good as you're going to get. I've got several all clad pieces, and while they're a little heavier, they aren't noticeably different in performance.

If you need most of these pieces, I'd go for it. I don't think it's too big at all for 2 adults.

I just got the 14pc set. The hard anodized is generally suppose to be good if you aren't comfortable cooking on stainless. I would recommend getting some good silicone cooking utensils though, just so you don't scratch the surface.

Got these for ~$135 from Macys earlier in the year.
I consider them to be a great buy. Just follow the instructions.
