+$10% eBay bucks for those that have the offer.
Don't forget cashback.
But is this really a good deal.... Isn't 65" Expected around this price point if not a bit lower ?

Good price for basic TV shows and gaming, but not good for watching movies.

I was debating this tv if it dropped to 800.. and here it is. My thought was I wanted a 60" for my space, and this is probably the best one there is (everything is 55 or 65 these days), and at 800 it would be a decent 4k hold over for a couple years until OLED really drops. Now I'm wavering because of the poor black levels in a dark room per rtings.. my viewing area is usually dark. Anyone have any real world experience with this set in a dark room?

The problem is that this is an IPS display which means worse black levels than most TVs on the market right now

I bought this TV in summer but returned it. Worst blacks in any TV I ever watched. You can see the difference of light black, grey, and dark black on the TV. I was watching The Force Awakens and Kylo Ren in his cloak which was black in a Black backround was invisible on the TV. The funny thing is that if this tv had normal blacks it might be the best TV I ever seen for non OLED. TV is well built, the colors are amazing. The TV is as smooth as butter.

Bummer, a combination of the IPS display and RGBW pixel configuration probably. Thanks for the input on this!

I had the 55" 8500 which uses regualr rgb pixels.

The 8000 I just found out is fake 4k. Its LG's cheap buget scam they do. Its a RGBW which is not 4k.

I would avoid this TV like the plague.

bought this fake 4k with HDR and DV. it's a bit pricey than the model better low, but the rate frame and tv frame thinless is better.

best deal for this model. no CA tax.
