Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Special Edition for Wii U is $32.97 (New) if you can find a store that has it in stock, as it is not available for online ordering.

I started playing this game today, and while I haven't progressed far enough to give it a proper review, I am enjoying the gameplay. It looks and plays very similar to Persona 5 in my opinion.

Thanks, I have been waiting for a deal on it after completing Persona 5.
For free shipping on the standard edition, the coupon code "SAVER" can be used.

Good deal if it was truly sealed. I've fallen for this GameStop scam too many times in the past. Anything with a .97 price (clearance) will come already opened. When I recently bought Resident Evil for Wii U "new", even the manual was crinkled and the disc had scratches. What a scam company..

Best Buy won't price match on Black Friday weekend, but the GameStop price doesn't appear to be a Black Friday sale so you might be able to PM at Best Buy on Monday or Tuesday

Yes, hopefully Nintendo will realize the untapped potential of people re-buying great games over and over again! I hate to admit but I do it a lot on XBox and PS systems-- if it's a great game, it's OK to buy again for an improved version on a newer system. That helps the companies know that it's worth it to do that! (and especially since Nintendo also has a negative reputation for heaps of "shovelware" to go with their handful of excellence). [At least so far we haven't seen "shovelware" on the Switch, as we did on Wii and DS/3DS]

This game isn't great. Basically a persona with no social links.

The best kind of shovelware is when it's called Shovel Knight. And it's literally on every Nintendo device released in the past few years.

I hope they are planning on it, but holding off on the announcement. TMS came out just last year.

Oh, it's there. There's tons of crap on the eShop for Switch already, and it's going to have the exact same issue as all the other systems where discoverability is basically impossible. There's already like 250 games on the system, and since it's selling well, that production is just going to get ratcheted up a ton. People seem to be doing a decent job of finding the good games at the moment. r/NintendoSwitch is a great subreddit for that sort of thing, but there's plenty of shovelware on the system, and there's basically no way to avoid the same issues every other gaming ecosystem has at the moment.

Now, as for the game in the OP. I really enjoyed Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I think it was pretty repetitive and the story was all kinds of dumb, but it was fun, and the combat, though repetitive, was satisfying. The bosses were highlights for sure. It's nothing like Persona though, for those going into it after P5. It lacks the deep story or compelling characters. It's a straight up JRPG, and the story is just a silly means to an end. If you enjoyed the combat in Persona, this will be fine, but if you enjoyed the story and social aspects of Persona, this game has none of that.

I've been eyeing those Wii U games at GS for some time and this has been the same price for a while. I hope the prices would drop some more or BOGO...... There are probably not that many Wii U games left in typical GS stores, though.

Anyone received their copy? As usual, Gamestop shipped me one that wasn't factory sealed but in a sealed sleeve..
