New DJI Mavic Pro for $680 at BJ's- YMMV

$680.00

Was in my local BJ's wholesale club in NJ last night when I stumbled on this sale for the DJI Mavic Pro for $680 after instant coupon. This appears to be in store only through Nov 27, and YMMV on this being in stock in your local BJ's.

As far as I know, BJ's is not an authorized DJI seller. But still, $680 before tax for a new Mavic seemed to be a good price even considering the slew of recent Mavic deals that came up.

Why can't we ever get a BJ around my general area?

Seems like a great offer is anyone can score one.

Is there a way to check our local store for stock?

Good deal, but local tax here and lack of being an authorized dealer kills it for me. Snagged the refurbished from dji eBay for $700. No tax or shipping.

Why would DJI sell to retailers if they won't honor their warranty. I don't understand this policy of not supporting their products if they are sold brand new and from a reputable company? It just seems like the question that pops up in any DJI related post!

That's a great deal, and only 1 store showing in stock locally for me. BJ's website says $879.99 after clipless coupon. Is it only certain BJ's doing OP's price?

EDIT: I called the only BJ's with Mavic in stock, and the lady said their price was $879.99 after coupon.

Is there a special price in store vs pickup? It's in stock near me but I'm only getting the 879.99 price for pickup.

1. The following conditions must be met for warranty service:
During warranty period, product is normal used, as intended by the manufacturer.
No unauthorized disassembling, modification or installation has been performed.
Labels, Serial Numbers, waterproof mark, false proof mark, etc. show no signs of tampering or altering;
Valid proof-of-purchase, receipt or order number DJI Online Store

Doesn't say anything about authorized seller.

If anybody can grab a better/larger picture of the price advertisement (with merchant name, date) - this would help a lot of folks with price protection claim. Thanks!

I think chase and discover exclude PP claims using membership club lower prices. However, last year, I had a Discover claims examiner approve my PP claim to BJ's printed ad.

Me too. Bought a couple batteries from Rakuten (seller: adorama) using their BF20 coupon. Came out to around $69 each for 2.

I'm at about $838 with the refurbished mavic from ebay and 2 batteries. Fly more bishes!
