Would recommend going with a Neato instead. The LIDAR laser mapping sensor in it is way better than the bump and turn method in the Roombas and Samsung. Even compared to the Roombas with a camera.

The 960 for $30 more at Bed Bath & Beyond is a way better deal, in my opinion.

Also, unless this guy is an authorized reseller, iRobot will not honor the warranty.

Many owners of neato report low reliability on this forum so it doesn't seem like a good option

With the older ones, sure. The Botvac D and the newest ones are better. Most credit cards add a year of warranty if you're worried

Both statement are true - good mapping engine , but little low reliability

Neato has lost to Roomba in every head to head at Consumer Reports. Also, Neatos have TERRIBLE reliability after the first year. The worst.

Roomba 960 for a few bucks more at BBB with the 20% coupon in-store is a MUCH better deal. Yes, it excludes Roomba, but I've never had a cashier have a problem, and lots of SDers have had success (only a couple had to try another store).

Spend the extra money or wait for another 960 sale. This one is just not smart and eats socks and gets lost and trapped almost every run.

Not a good deal. Purchased the 895 from Kohls which is the same exact model for $385 using a 40% off coupon. Received $70 back in Kohls cash, and another $40 back in Kohls cash in yes2you rewards.

Target in-store has it for $399. I was abe to get the cashier to price match their 15% cyber-Monday online special.
