Seems to be as a result of buggy firmware when it just came out or it requiring some changing the settings. Mine s been rock solid for several months now. Noticeably faster than the Tmo/Asus ac1900 it replaced. Was leery about the reviews and it being Linksys (read:Belkin) but so far I'm not having any issues with it.

have you updated to the latest firmware last month? i also have a n56u and the tmobile ac68u. i want to give tri-band a try because we have a ton of wifi devices here and lately the wifi has been bugging out especially with all the people over for thanksgiving, haha.

Nope not yet. Not seeing the option to manually update and when I check for a new firmware it says none is available but I do see I'm on the version before the October release. Odd. Sounds like a pretty big update too.

oh that sucks. so i guess the only way to get an update is to go in and check every so often? i just looked at the firmware page, it said to contact linksys about manual updating. maybe someone posted online where you can do it yourself.
