**NOT LIVE UNTIL TOMORROW, MONDAY 11/27**

Target has the Vizio 70" XLED E70-E3 4K UHD HDR Display on sale for $999.99 today and tomorrow.

Tomorrow, Target.com is having their Cyber Monday sale and taking 15% off sitewide. Samsung and LG TVs are excluded.

See this thread for more info on the 15% off sitewide... https://slickdeals.net/f/10873251-target-com-cyber-monday-11-27-15-off-sitewide?v=1... The full list of exclusions is on page 16 of the weekly ad.

Taking 15% off will bring the price down to $850 or $808 with Red Card before tax. Choose in store pick up to avoid handling and waste fees. YMMV. Most stores seem to have it in stock.

If you have it shipped shipping will be free but there is a $20 handling fee and $7 EWaste fee. Totals before tax would be $878 or $835 with Red Card.

I have edited the OP to remove any mention of 'TV" lol.

Do people really buy TVs this size to only watch OTA channels? Asking for a friend.

Looks to me like he calls it a display right in his post.

And honestly this constant debate around here over TV vs display is really getting old.

This is better than the Sam's Club sale on this tv if you happen to have a Red Card (it is the same price as the Sam's Club deal if you don't have Red Card). Which sucks since I bought the deal at Sam's Club and already have it set up. Oh well. FWIW, it is indeed just a fancy large "monitor," since there is no tuner, but as long as you hook up something like a cable box (like I did) or somehow stream internet through a separate device, you are fine. You just can't plug directly into your coaxial cable or an antenna for free over the air tv. Also note that this only has 1 USB port. We didn't realize that until we tried to hook it up. Good luck to those that can get it at this price!

Got the same TV on a Walmart refurbished deal. Honestly not a bad TV. While obviously not an OLED you are paying for the size. Idk if it mentions it in the specs but it even received a firmware update for "HDR".

Well you can't watch television channels with just this device so I don't understand your comparison.

Checked out link.... This is only a display (monitor) no tv tuner... Needs devices connected to view any content....so TD to OP for incorrect information.
Looks to me like he calls it a display right in his post.

And honestly this constant debate around here over TV vs display is really getting old.

For those adamant that this isn't a "TV", keep in mind that MANY people either have cable via HDMI box or stream from another device (Roku, Fire, video game console, STB, disc player, receiver, etc.).

To say this isn't a TV is about as misleading as saying it is. Times have changed, and a majority of people don't need or use a tuner. And I say that as someone who uses OTA, so I'm not hating.

If you're looking at this device, just know the limitation, but don't read too much into the "it's not a TV" comments, because for a majority of people it is and they would never notice the difference.

I was debating between this TV and the TCL 65S405.
I got the TCL a month when it had the 10% cart wheel. With the 5% redcard, it came out of $603.85 (before taxes) with a return date of 1/31/2018

If TCL goes on Cyber Monday to 15% off, it would be $699 - 15% - 5% redcard = $570.30. I doubt Target will give me the price difference tomorrow on Cyber Monday.

Vizio got a 7.3 ratings on rtings.com and TCL got a 7.2 rating so not a big difference.
