This is definitely a good deal but man that is some cheap steel for a fixed blade. Not tryin to be a knife snob but...

Think I'm gonna pass on this one.

I have this knife and pretty much like the others said....soft steel, nice big handle and if you are only cutting soft material it"s fine....on the plus side soft steel takes an edge easily .......but also loses it almost as easy.

Depends on usage, but I'd guess for 90% of what people would be using it for a Mora would suffice. https://www.amazon.com/Morakniv-C...B004TNWD40

Stainless version if that is your preference; https://www.amazon.com/Morakniv-C...00BTJKB00/

I picked one up on thanksgiving, figured for the price you can't really go wrong. Tool box knife, tackle box, random carry, give it to my kids to teach them to care for the blade, etc. My 11 year old son has a ss mora and I think it spoiled him. He thinks his knife is a multi tool! Maybe this will teach him to be more responsible about where he sticks his knife!
In any event, it does look pretty cool

Most of the reviews at Cabela's are positive, and I had some Cabela's bucks to use, so this was "Free Dollars" for me. Will keep it in a vehicle. Love the free shipping deal at Cabela's when it comes around.

Thanks, ordered a couple orange stainless ones, one for me and one for the bro in law, figure we are less likely to lose them if they're bright orange :-)
