Amazon has the NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-band Gigabit WiFi Router with MU-MIMO, Compatible with Amazon Echo/Alexa (R8000P) on sale for $249.99, but you get a further $50 off if you use an Alexa enabled device. Just say, "Alexa, order a Netgear Nighthawk router." This is an early access deal for Alexa Voice shoppers. Early access is only until 9pm PT/12am ET.

EDIT: Amazon turned it into a DOTD for $190 now. All Alexa orders come with free returns, so Amazon may have screwed themselves on this one.

Different between this AC4000 and the Costco model AC3000:

If you have to ask it's 99% likely the answer is no. (seriously- if you don't have a clear answer for why the slight difference in technical features would be worth it then it is 99% likely those don't matter to you)

Different model

Costco has the older Model #R7900P-100NAS that maxes out at 3000mbps. The Amazon one is the R8000P, which can go to 4000.

Granted, you're unlikely to ever see/need that anyway, so whether Costco is still the better deal is obviously debatable.

In for 1. Good price. This is not the same model at the Costco one. This one is better. Check out this site to compare.

AC4000? lol, a bit overkill for most users purposes, bottlenecks elsewhere

This router would be extreme overkill for most people so chances are if you have to ask that you don't need it.

Download the Amazon Music App it has built in Alexa. Should not have a problem getting the discount.
