Is the "up to 9 hours" runtime on battery realistic?
Can an internal HDD be added easily?

TN is the only panel available if you're going for this price point.

This is hard to beat for $180, no?

Looking for something for my wife to browse, word processing and email.

Would I be better off with a Chromebook?

this laptop vs this one?

http://www.microcenter.com/produc...er_-_Black

or this? http://www.microcenter.com/produc...sor_110GHz
Both those laptops are 15.6" 768p rather than the 14" 1080p screen here.

The benefit of this laptop is the screen resolution and weight (3.6lbs).

This is a good size with a pretty good screen but the 32gb storage is just not enough for Windows 10. It's not upgradeable.

32gb on a Chromebook is fine but on Windows it's nothing.

After updating Windows and installing typical apps including MS Office and then deleting unnecessary files, how much free space would be available for other apps? Obviously you'd use external/flush-mount drives for additional data storage needs beyond that. Totally acceptable at this price point.
