Looks like the same deal as doorbuster from black friday and seemed to be a hit from the previous SD thread ( https://slickdeals.net/f/10710796-dell-home-office-black-friday-alienware-aurora-desktop-8th-gen-i5-8gb-1tb-hd-win-10-home-for-799-99 )

Upgrades available:
Add $100 for GTX 1070
Add $200 for GTX 1080
Add $50 for liquid cooling

Combining with SD tiered rebates, you can get i5 8th gen, 1080 for $800 after rebate.

say what? $799 for i5-8400 + gtx1080 is a very good deal. Would be almost impossible to build one yourself for anywhere close to this price.

SAVEFIFTEEN also looks to be valid - though I think it expires at 8am EST just prior to the launch of this deal.

Its 799 + $200 extra for gtx 1080 = 999.99, then - $200 SD rebate = $799 for i5-8400 + gtx1080

The +350 for a 512GB SSD ruins this every time for me.

Just buy a 480gb-512gb SSD from Newegg for around $150, clone this 1TB drive and you're good to go. Then use the 1TB dell drive for your media/games/etc.

I purchased this deal earlier today, but it was ~$100 more even after cashback. Will see if I can get this to go through in the morning before cancelling my other order. Great find, hopefully it doesn't sell out quick.

Thanks I may do this, even though I really want the i7. The price is really good, especially with CB.

I had a highly customized and loaded i7 8700 picked out with the SAVEFIFTEEN last night. Saw the countdown clock to 8am, decided to just finish the order in the morning, since I usually get up at 6am anyway. I literally had screenshots where the deal was still being offered and the count down clock still running BUT it wouldn't let me keep my cart and checkout, saying the code was expired. The same code advertised that the top of the page with a remaining countdown. Support sales was pretty worthless in helping me.

Apparently a Dell countdown clock is worthless.

Thank god the CB is still valid (I hope it doesn't expire at 11am EST). Hopefully I can get in on this as well.
