Bought one. This is by far the best price I've seen for this set. Good reviews.

I am still debating between RBK33 System vs RBK50 System . Not sure which one is the best.

orbi has 2 advantages - easy to setup gui, and the satellites use a dedicated wifi channel that does not interfere with the dual channels your own devices use. this set was $500 just a year ago, so if you have a large ground area and/or multi floor home, then these are great. i was able to do a poor man's simulated orbi using 3 discounted AC routers for under $150, but if you don't know what you are doing, get the orbi idiot proof solution.

Same here. I don't know if the wired backhaul is worth the cost increase. Beyond that I don't see any real difference, with the exception of the satellites not having any LAN ports.

RBK50 - 4x4 802.11 ac (1733Mbps)
RBK33 - 2x2 802.11ac (866 Mbps)

RBK50 has better range and better backhaul. Also, each RBK50 satellite has ethernet ports. The RBK33 doesn't.

I've been patiently waiting on the price to drop! I bought this RBK33 deal. Perfect solution for my 3100sft / 3 level home. I don't have Ethernet ran throughout, so no need for the more expensive RBK50.

Also, just an FYI, these units are now fully mesh systems. There was a firmware update that allows the signal to pass from either the router unit or a satellite unit. What this means for me is that I can set it up in a Router >> Satellite >> Satellite configuration. Each satellite does not need to connect to the router.
