Target has the Vizio M55-E0 [target.com] on sale for $629.99 this week. Combined with the 15% Cyber Monday discount, this great TV can be had for $535.49 before tax or $508.72 before tax if you have a Target RedCard.

The M55 is Vizio's mid-tier budget TV that has both HDR10 and Dolby Vision (the E series has only HDR10). This year's version has less local dimming zones (32) than last year's model, but it has a wider color gamut and is noticeably brighter than last year's model. It has received glowing reviews by CNET [cnet.com] and Rtings.com [rtings.com]. It compares well with TCL's P series TV.

Of note, this television does not have an onboard digital tuner, so you won't be able to watch over-the-air broadcasts. Target also changes a $20 handling fee for shipping the TV, but that can be avoided if you buy and choose instore pickup.

Unfortunately, Target carries only the 55" version of this TV. So you're out of luck if you want a smaller or larger display. However, if you are in the market for a 55" TV, this is probably the best bang for your buck TV, especially at this price.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I really was hoping on a deal for the TCL P607 or P605, but don't see any out there today. Placed my order for this TV with pickup. $540 after tax (with Redcard). Hard to pass up this deal.

Anyone out there have any opinions on this TV versus the TCL. Is the P605 (from Best Buy) worth an extra hundred bucks?

Not even a good deal. First Target has it priced $30 more then msrp. Targets 15% is just a scam. Such a crapy store.
They have some good deals with 15% off. The $90 Kindle Paperwhite for example.

Pretty solid tv. Biggest complaint for me would be it's Cast system. Kinda annoying to use another device to stream many apps onto the TV.

Can you show where this M series TV is listed for lower than this target price? If not, then it's a deal.

You're looking at the 50" version, not the 55".

No - it is $599.99 at Best Buy and the one on the Vizio website for $499.99 is 50 inches (not 55 like this deal).

I don't get this comment at all. The 15% is super easy (applies as soon as you add anything to the cart) and still brings the TV down to $535.50 which is less than anywhere else.

Interesting. Did they include the 5% redcard discount as well (I.E. was your final price $504.00)?

I am tempted to do this, but I also like the idea that I can easily return the TV if it is defective or I don't like it. With B&H that process would be more of a hassle.
