I have the 64gb with 4gb ram and really enjoy it. I mostly just do internet, Reddit, and movies and the battery easily lasts a day. I don't really game much so I can't speak for that. My only hesitation would be how little ram it has, I would wait for the 4gb model to go on sale again.

store pickup is not available as an option even though the item is in stock in most stores. I wonder if i go in, they would price match + 15% discount there?

The stores that state "limited stock" do not allow for online ordering. However, there are several stores around me with 1-2 units in stock that do allow you to checkout online.

I went to a store and they stated that:
- the price is $169 = $199 - 15% (i.e. the 15% is not off $169)
- It's an online only deal (the details online show that) - YMMV if you can convince someone in store to get this for $169, but you're probably not going to get $144.

They lied to you. $169 is the price before the 15% Cyber Monday discount. If you found one in store and did a price check on it, it would be $169. I don't blame them for not matching the $144 discounted online price though, it's really supposed to only be for Target.com orders.

I also got this version for my wife but back in June and she hasn't had any issues at all and it has been perfect for her after she lost her previous phone. She is more of a light user and doesn't play games but she does watch videos and of course moderate internet use. Battery life has been excellent for her and she usually gets near 2 days with light to moderate use.

She must have got a lemon. I have the G5 Plus and the G4 and both are outstanding, especially with their cameras. Reviews always put them at the top.

Literally one left in my area. It was available online a few hours ago but didn't bite on it. I'm not even sure where the store is exactly.

I have the G5 plus and getting this for a family member. Main concern is my rear camera lens cracked as it protrudes out over the case. Other people online have posted similar concerns.I need to repair it somehow ...

How would the Moto G5 Plus compare to something like a Honor 6X or ZTE Blade V8 Pro?

They are all in the same league. The Honor does not have Gorilla Glass like the ZTE and Moto G5 Plus, and the screen does scratch easier and did not pass the "bend test" (search youtube). Also what the test did was expose the relatively shoddy build quality of the phone (no screws holding the metal back to the body for example).

The Moto G5 Plus is a good phone, but I returned mine after a few days as I was not very impressed with the overall build quality, I actually thought my Moto G4 was put together better. The ZTE has NFC which the G5 Plus and Honor don't have. I've also read at least a few times now that pictures do not do the ZTE justice, that it looks better and more importantly feels very premium and well made in person. I'd probably go with the ZTE, in fact I might go with it to replace my wife's Moto G4 Plus which has a broken volume rocker.

Yep the did lie. I tried to buy online but there was limited stock. I called the store, the rep put it on hold for me and I asked if they would match online and the 15%. They did and then I added my redcard so I got it for 137.27+ tax

Perfect timing for me because I dropped my moto x pure on Turkey Day and Moto Maker wanted 120 for a refurbished replacement. So I opted to just get a newer phone at the $137 price. I think that was pretty slick

Any ideas where to find this phone now for a comparable price?
