Don't see $99 for the jacket, showing up $149 and free battery.

OP does not specifically say $99 for the jacket. You can get the hoodie at that price but there is already a better deal from the other day.

This deal is still active and comes out to a lower price.

I don't know how many years ago you tried it, but i've got last year's model and it is fantastic.
For me, High will easily bake you to the point of discomfort in 40 degree F weather.
Medium is a comfortable supplement to body heat.
Low is not enough in 30 degrees.
It essentially scales from there.

I completely agree. Love mine that I bought last year. Wore it and a t-shirt to play disc golf in Buffalo on Thanksgiving when it was 30 degrees this year.

Tried this in Chicago last year and it wasn't able to keep me warm at all.

If you want the hoodie this (THD) deal is better. Get the hoodie + free battery from Home Depot, then you should also be able send in the rebate for an additional free battery from Milwaukee (YMMV).

Milwaukee has a certain list of distributors that they will redeem the offer for (THD is not one of them).
I know this because I contacted them when I was first looking for a deal on a new jacket (that's how I pieced together this deal in the first place, I was forced to make something work off of their list).
Home Depot (and others i've noticed) are offering up something similar to keep business.

It was from 2 years go, the jacket wasn't keeping me warm at all. I tried all the settings too. I'm a Milwaukee guy, and the jacket has been the only thing that I've returned.

Hoodie is great. You can use it by itself, and if it gets too cold, you can put a regular jacket on over it and cook yourself out.

Can't do that with just the heated jacket....

There's a $5 off $50 thread here somewhere.

Good call. I assumed that THD was on the list because it was there for the previous month's promotion and I didn't double check.

Well if you don't need the battery you can get a discounted jacket at THD by returning the battery - 66.xx for the hoodie after returning the battery.

+1....On windy days the hoodie cannot block the wind so putting another jacket over it will improve the performance. The heated jacket works well with a t-shirt inside because it allows the heat to reach your body. If you have an over-sized outer jacket you can bake yourself with the heated jacket on high. Carry spare batteries because it gets cold when the power dies...LoL
