Costco stopped distributing the $25 off coupons on 11/27. They are valid through 12/31 and can be found on eBay for $0.99 if you can't find one elsewhere. Limit one per membership.

besides the # of hdmi inputs/outputs and maybe power output per channel.... how does this compare to TSR-5830?
Does the "3" in 5830 mean it is the next generation than 5810 and 7810?

I got the TSR-5830 a month or two ago for $325 from Costco....

Correct. The 3 is the 2017 generation, and the 1 is the 2016 generation.
The 7 is 2 series higher than the 5 though and original MSRP is like $300 more. I think the 781 is the better value for the price, but both are great. I just picked up the 681 from Amazon for 300 and am very happy with it so far.

This is the same receiver as the RX v781 except for maybe a cosmetic change or two.

Aside from the benefits you listed, you would also get 7.2 preouts if you want to use an external amp and multipoint sound calibration using the mic.

I was planning to post this tomorrow and will definitely be buying using the $25 off Costco code. I have an older Yamaha RXA3000 that is working perfectly in one room and plan to use the 7810 in our family room.

You can only use one code per Costco account. I will post a couple of extra codes tomorrow as I currently do not have them with me.

Thanks on the heads up on one per account. Account or membership? I assume that means one between the wife and I...even if we have separate costco.com accounts? That sucks. Well... now I really want to know if the Sony or Yamaha is better as they are essentially the same price for me.

Can you please share some code and how do you get this? Do I need to sign up?

They're at Costco, usually at the customer service desk. Or you can call Costco Membership Services and they may provide you one.

I can PM you a code if you need one.
