Wall Charger has 2 x 2.5 Amp USB ports for rapid charging; short circuit protection; durable construction for long lasting performance; output is 5V / 2.5A

Other items also available for $4.99. The wall charger caught my eye as an iPad/iPhone replacement brick. Click on the 4th photo to see the brick.

How do they work? Is it 2.5A per port? I'm looking for a power supply for my Raspberry Pi.

I wish the damn app supported picture attachments in an easy to post format. The labeling says yes but I'm not sure..... I haven't been able to time it properly yet (usually charge battery packs at work but i don't have a fully depleted one today)

Thanks. The website image is a bit blurry so I wasn't certain. If the power output is good, this would work perfectly with power for two Pis or the Pi and a powered hub.

I can safely say that this charger doesn't do 2.5A per port. My battery pack should've finished charging by now (since it was half full when i started charging) but it didn't. I'll need to continue testing to be 100% sure but I'd recommend against it

Edit: I'll ask for a refund if *neither* port does 2.5A. Good thing i saved the receipt.......

[edit 2]: after several weeks of testing, I am returning this device. When BOTH ports are being used to charge devices, the bottom one doesn't do 2.5A, but more. It's kind of weird, to be honest.
