Awesome, thanks!

If it helps anyone, I did call today to cancel my auto renew for next year so I can just use this key then. I've had problems in the past cancelling the auto renew because they wanted to cancel my whole payroll immediately. I guess I'll see if it was successful next year :|

Good to buy just for the Enhanced Payroll in case you need to renew yours. It's cheaper than what rip-off Intuit charges.

Wait. Don't you have to buy one every year?

Serious question - why not buy the accountant version for $5/mo for the duration of lifetime promo?

Any more info on this? Only thing I found about $5 monthly for life is something about the accountant has to buy a pack of 5 accounts and they assign it to clients? Is this something different? Also, I currently have the premier version for manufacturing. Would this online service cover all those functions? Not sure if you would know that or not but just curious. Thanks!

Shit, i'm on the same boat as well. I have no fcuking clue.

Might even snatch up the licenses and cancel them later.

but on a second thought, $25/mo for only 5 clients? err fcuk, seems expensive as it's $300/year, meanwhile the Accountant Desktop has license of $350/year.

Thanks, OP! Fantastic deal. Intuit just sent me the auto renew payroll notice for $414 plus tax. I caught a deal last year for $200...this is even better.

There is no limit on the number of company files you can use with one license. The client limitation is a totally different thing that most people won't use.

The Accountant Desktop version for $350/yr includes the proadvisor access. You can buy a standalone copy without the proadvisor access for 399, but you have to call intuit to do this. You used to be able to buy Premier and select Accountant, but this is no longer an option, even though it is effectively the same thing.

I recently upgraded from Pro 2015 to Accountant 2018 to be able to have 2 company files open at the same time, fixed asset manager, and the statement writer.

I'm paying a promo price of $44/mo for Intuit. Its going to increase for me in 2018.

I'm looking into other options but would these things have the same payroll support and customer service?

Thank you for your thoughtful response.

So is it reasonable to conclude $25/mo is a waste of money(up to 5 clients only)since you suggested that buying $399 accountant doesn't artificially limit anything?
