Good deal. Was about $210 (no tax) at Rakuten with the 20% off coupon, but this otherwise the best price I've seen on this. Great watch, too, if you want a smaller smartwatch that's round with an always-on display and great battery life.

Anyone who upgraded from vivoactive HR can comment what features are worth it? I am not sure I would be using "pay" often. Anything else? I a big fan of vivoactive, had one from the first generation and upgraded one for HR to have heart rate data (always hated the chest straps) and to have altometer while cycling.

Owned all 3 (original, HR, and this); Like this the best. Thinner than the HR so goes under long sleeve and gloves well. Battery is better (about 9 hr on my bike vs about 8 on the HR). You have the new heart rate sensor that allow garmin to estimate your fitness age (fun factors). I do use it to send heart rate to my garmin 820 sometimes. For me it is a worthy upgrade with just the new form factor.

Love this watch. Had the HR previously. Improvements I would say it's nicer screen, looks and feels better, I like the touch bezel, haven't used pay yet. But me it was larger and better display that made me upg

A few reviews say the Steel bezel and even the screen are very scratch prone. Is this true?
I have a friend who uses the vivoactive HR and loves it. I didnt like its shape and prefer a "watch like" device. The forerunner was too plasticky for my linking. I got the blaze last year but don't seem to like it much. The plastic tracker inside has become loose in the frame and rocks around. The removing and charging is also a pain.

Great. Thank you. And how long have you had it?
I have a small scratch on my blaze screen as well.

Got the gear s3 from Costco for $240 but I use an iPhone and it's severely handicapped with the iOS. Unable to decide on this. Maybe I'll price match at bestbuy and try the vivo active.

I have tried several probably 12 different watches and this is my favorite one so far. Band2 was long favorite. And s3 but since I primarily use for fitness s3 didnt score well in my book. Also vivo3 let's you respond to texts as well pretty cool.
