Any advantage to wink over smart things? Seems like smart things are supported by many more devices.

I have both. I will never buy wink, number one reason limited number of devices supported.
The only reason I bought wink was it supports wireless wifi. But I will just buy a repeater for smarthings from now on.

I own both too and I really lean to eliminate ST. I'm not a heavy user nor a deeply geeky one. Wink does enough and supports enough devices (all majors are well supported, monoprice stuff are out of luck for sure). It's just way more organized especially working with google home. I feel it really depends.

SmartThings is the way to go. It can easily be found for under $50. It is more compact and more powerful IMO. But I do understand people who like Wink for the simplicity.

Tempted by this deal. I'm leaning towards Wink over ST because it supports multiple protocols including Z-Wave and Clear Connect from Lutron (Caseta wireless). AFAIK the only dimmers/switches that do NOT require neutral wires are from Lutron. Having Wink would also allow me to get the Z-Wave devices.

Is the deal dead? It is showing $99 for me.

I grabbed the Wink for ease of use, mostly for my wife because if it became a pain to use she would whoop me for buying all this smart stuff on Black Friday hahahaha
I was also invested in nest quite a bit already so it was painless to sync with wink, vs a bit extra work for it to work with SmartThings.
But I do enjoy it so far.

What am I missing? It's showing $99 for me.
FYI - Unless you're a power user, I always recommend WINK. But soon I'll be recommending the new Amazon Alexa with hub inbuilt. It's just too early.

I use Wink and ST together. Wink is for all my Lutron Casseta switches in my tracklights which I much prefer than a thousand GU10 wireless LEDs.
