Nest Protect 2nd Gen (Wired or Battery) is $79.94 + tax at Target when combining 15% Cyber Monday and 5% Red Card discount.

Must be ordered online unless your B&M Target honors Cyber Monday discount.

You don't have to worry about dealing with those Lowes "coupons" LMAO

Not sure why you got the thumb down, I even it out with a thumb up.

I did get a Lowes order, and it is a bit more (0.48) than Lowes, but I prefer to not drive to Lowes... So that saves me miles and time. Thanks for the post.

Thank you Smilie

Maybe that $1 filler does make a difference for some in the other thread. I do see the additional benefits from using discounted Lowes GC, but going through Target.com doesn't require jumping through hoops for those with Red Card.

We're talking about Smoke and CO detectors here, not door bells, unless I've misunderstood your question?

Rinse and repeat, LOL

Unless you need 9, like I do Smilie. Thanks OP, great deal but waaaaaay too expensive for entire house. One at the time makes it a hassle too in my opinion. Thumbing up.

Just a piece of information: these are photoelectric only, Halo from Lowe's is both photoelectric and ionization and could be worked out to about $75/piece (or less with discounted GC) I did 3 last month but decided that doing entire house is too expensive so I returned it. Reviews are all over the place for both, in my opinion both brands are great and miles ahead of competition. I'm going with whatever brand goes down to about $50/piece when I build my house in a year or two.

edit: per post below, newer nests are also dual sensor. makes it easier to choose.
