i would suggest only doing so if you use a guard/comb attachment depending on the specific area you're trimming.
i do not have experience with this specific product but looking at the zoomed in view of the blade, the teeth appear to be too far apart to use on bare skin in certain parts of nether regions, esp where the skin gets looser and less taut (assume you are picking up on the specific area i'm vaguely referencing).
there are other product options better suited if you prefer no guard/comb and want to use blades directly on skin in that area but also other areas in same general vicinity to play it safe. but with combs, i'm sure this one is fine.

sure, these type of trimmers work for me without fear of nicks in that area.
if you look at the teeth they are super super close together meaning much less of a chance of non-taut skin sneaking in, which from unfortunate experience i've done with clippers with teeth that are far apart. never with any type of product like these, though.
if you look around amazon there are similar ones that don't have the pink color if you prefer not to have that.
