Need to switch my mom from TPO to the T-Mobile 55+ plan...hopefully this will work and we'll get the free iPad with a new mobile activation.

Yeah, I saw that. It just sucks that I missed it by literally one day.

According to customer service, this also works with the BOGO offer on iPhones

How long is the plan for? 2 years?

Hows the coverage in Los Angeles? I feel spoiled with Verizon but it's just too damn expensive.

Not free. Have to give a 2 year commitment on service and pay for that. Should rename the post.

You may cancel once the iPad is paid off.

Actually, this seems to be a $460 prepaid card offer, not bill credits. So you can cancel as soon as the card comes in. If it makes you feel safer, empty the card before you cancel.

The terms state that you need to purchase the iPad with the payment plan for it to be eligible and if you cancel the wireless service you need to pay the remaining balance on it. Is there a way around that?

EDIT: Nevermind, after reading the terms again I think you just have to pay the remaining balance on the EIF if you cancel the wireless service, but you still have the prepaid card.

I waited in a T-Mobile store for over an hour to get help. Only got promises of "I'll be right with you in a few minutes." Bailed. Called T-Mobile to bite on the offer. Waited once on hold for over 45 minutes. Disconnected. Currently on hold on my second call... reaching 15 minutes now.

After reading that this iPad offer isn't "free" free (must pay monthly for data), and not finding ANYWHERE what iPad 32 gb model this is, I've decided not to bite.

Too bad, they could've had a new customer.

Anybody which model of iPad they're offering on this deal?
