Mobius ActionCam 1080p HD Video Camera Set With Live Video Out $52.70 FS at Hobby King

+4 Deal Score

Video format: 1080p HD @ 30fps, 720p HD at 60 or 30fps
Battery: 520mah
Video storage: Micro SD Cards up to 32GB
Weight: 39g (camera only)
A/V live out: Audio and video out available
1 mounting sleeve (base) with 1/4"-20 thread for tripod use
USB cable
1" Hook and Loop tape

I have had one of these in my car for the past ~2 years. It has a battery that lasts about 2 hours (set to max resolution) if you want to record with the power off (as a "parking monitor"). I have it hardwired to an accessory fuse and set to auto-record whenever power is applied. You have to set it to record in .avi format if you want it to continuously loop and overwrite the oldest video file - when set to .mpeg it stops recording when the card fills up.

Technically it won't support 128gb capacity cards, but if you download a SD card formatter and format it to FAT32 (do NOT format it via the Mobius software) it will work.

Some accessories from Amazon for storage, power, and mounting:

128gb microSDXC card $29.99:

5V hardwired power $9.95:

Suction Mount $7.99:

Adhesive Mount $7.95:

This might help:

From what I can tell you don't gain anything with the Mobius 2 as far as using it as a dashcam. Says it supports up to a 200gb sd card, have tested the Mobius 1 with 128gb max only. I also has H265 encoding and 1080p at 60 fps, which the Mobius 1 does not.

I have mine mounted upside-down, so the buttons are facing downward, and adjusted the video so it is right-side-up in the settings.
