Greenworks Tools has a great deal on their 4Ah battery [greenworkstools.com] for $127.73. They also have their backpack blower [greenworkstools.com], which includes a 2.5Ah battery and charger, for $149.76. This is only a few dollars more than the backpack itself [greenworkstools.com].

Lots more tools on sale here [greenworkstools.com].

For comparison, Amazon sells the 4Ah battery [amazon.com] for $239.95 and the backpack blower kit [amazon.com] for $341.52.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

What makes you think the 80v line is going away anytime soon? I see the 60v line as a way to differentiate from the 80v platform since that is shared with Kobalt, but I personally don't think there's any need to worry.

Yeah, I've had my eye on that blower for a while. My only concern is the 2.5amp battery would be a waste.

80V self propelled mower is a great price! Torn between keeping the twin force 40V with 2 batteries or ditching and getting the 80V and using my existing 80V

No they aren't. The mechanism that holds the battery is different.

No there's a slight difference in the shape of the battery which makes the two incompatible. You can mod them though if you're so inclined. Check YouTube.

What LowKeyG said. It's my understanding they can be made to work with a Dremel and some time.

Been waiting on the backpack blower for months. $149 for the blower, battery and charger is a no brainer. Already have 2 batteries. Thanks OP!

Awesome! Got the blower combo and a 4ah battery. Don't need all the batteries or another charger, so it's looking like a free blower!

I've been wanting to pick up a mower and I could use both a blower and a string trimmer. Tempted to grab the 80v mower then the blower w/ battery, but I'm guessing the 2.5amp battery that comes with the blower will be pretty weak to use for the mower.

It says up to 70 minutes runtime... blowing the leaves in my yard takes waaaay longer than that with my 32cc blower. Just something to think about before you pull the trigger.
