Greenworks is having their Cyber Monday Sale. Prices are extremely good for the string trimmers:I do not post much, but this deal I had to post because I feel it is a good one.

Good prices indeed. I saw another deal on the 4Ah battery, so looks like Greenworks is clearing inventory.

I currently use the 80V cordless lawn mower, and blower. Both are awesome. Lawn mower is fairly lightweight and something even my 8 yr old girl can easily operate. The 2Ah battery does make the blower somewhat heavy to carry around, but nothing too painful. I'm thinking I'll snap up the brushless string trimmer now (tool only).

Yep, I've got the lawn mower (pretty good), snow blower (its a POS lol), handheld leaf blower (decent, but heavy with 4Ah batts), string trimmer (cant comment since I do not know how to use it properly, so once I learn whats good and whats not, maybe then i'll appreciate it a bit more haha)

I read that the top mount is a bit better and it also allows you to separate the two parts of the string trimmer for easier storage, as well as add attachments. If I had to choose, I'd go for the bundle with the battery and charger since it is cheaper for the better unit vs the other bundle of the lesser unit for more money.

They appear to be moving from 80V, down to 60V, as their top line.

Point of reference: Lowes has the new 60V backpack blower with charger and 5A battery for $250. I wonder how the 60v/540CFM vs 80v/580CFM models compare in the real world?

Greenworkstools appears to be tax free in many states, so there's that.

I have the bottom mount cheapest one and very happy with it. It has same power that 20-25cc one would have in gas. 2A battery lasts surprisingly long. I pull out my 50cc gas only for bush whacking with the blade now.
My 24V ryobi trimmer is total garbage, I keep it only because it has edger attachment that I use.

I wish my Kobalt batteries would work with Greenworks.

I heard they would after cutting some plastic off. Did not check though, have no kobalt.

Thanks. I am going to give it a try with the string trimmer. I already have 4 Kobalt batteries and two chargers plus Kobalt does not have a model that works with attachments.

For those complaining about the weight with the battery attached get this below for $25. You can also mod the attachment instead so you will not void the warranty when using the Kobalt battery. https://www.amazon.com/GreenWorks...nworks+80v

Thanks for this. Had my eye on it but the week of Black Friday or so, it went down to 70-75 on Greenworks website, but for $25 is a no brainer, ordered one.

Great deal, but I'm glad I did a little research or I would have ended up with an 80v when I own 40v products. I bought my mower (which is wonderful!), but didn't know until seeing this that they have different power size trimmers.

Interesting! Did you try it with the trimmer? I wonder if it will make the trimmer unbalanced and more awkward to use.
