No they do not. You only get that if you were grandfathered in and the really desirable features like real time blocking were absent from most of the earlier products.

make sure you don't lose your lifetime membership serial number...

their "support" is completely outsourced and abysmal. I had zero luck getting any help from them at all, even with the online invoice from Newegg.

Too bad about the no lifetime sub anymore. Worse, I've had repeated issues with Malwarebytes not updating their web services (or some such message). Very irritating, since it used to be totally issue free.

No more lifetime. $25 is regular price for renewal for current users. Current users may be offered 2 years for $39.99 but that's YMMV.

As stated above, their customer support is abysmal and totally outsourced.

Don't they not let you transfer it to a new computer anyways?

They do. You just have to disable/release the old license

Realtime version is not free that I know of. I pay for it. It's a good product for malware. I also have Norton for AV.

Nice! Did not know that. Thank you & repped Smilie

I have it installed on a computer I no longer use anymore. I no longer have the retail box. I assume there is a way to retrieve my serial number from my desktop it's installed on?

Check account status in the program and it will have account and license number

I really like it. I just manually run it every once in awhile which is free. What's the advantage of real time protection? Or just run it occasionally when my computer seems little slower.

I use Windows Defender for virus protection & it seens to do ok.

Buddy's computer was grindingly slow. Ran free version of malware bytes found 300 malware. Definitely worth running free version although afterwards might not be able to justify new computer.

I am also a "lifetime" license customer but most recently failed to deactivate my license on an old hard drive before installing on my new computer. It took over a week of back and forth with their support email address before I was finally able to convince them to deactivate my license at their end, but they eventually came through.

If you ever have the option, definitely deactivate before attempting to activate on a new computer. For those who experience some type of hard drive failure before installing , may you have better response than I did.

Oh, and this is the first time in TWO years that my MB deal alert properly fired on a Malwarebytes price drop, which implies it is the first deal I have seen on it.
