I've got Netgear X8 for $155. Asus definitely better, but too expensive.

Damn, I missed this by 2 hours. Being waiting 4 years to upgrade ac3200 to this, guess have to wait for another year.

AC5300 and AC88U are the same generation of chipset and bandwidth and everything, except one is tri-band with two 5Ghz and 88u is one 5Ghz.

Both are 2 year old technology anyway.

I've gone through 5x 88U's before I found one that wouldnt drop 5G. It was hardware rev.7 that works, anything before is buggy.
