Directly from HP.

http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-...-2xh18av-1

Make sure you change the following options:

12GB of ram - free
128 GB M2 SSD - $20
4 cell battery - $10
Full HD anti-glare screen - $100

Free Shipping.

The great thing about this configuration, is that it leaves room to get a secondary 2.5" HD for data storage. Not many laptops in this price range offer that.

9720p? Wow!

EDIT: I apologize, I didnt realize that was the cpu name and not a typo in resolution.

What is wrong with the 9720p? Combined with 12gb of ddr4 memory and SSD and FHD...this is a sweet laptop. It could even do some gaming with the R7 Apu.

Decent deal for $399 if you can do without the HD screen.

It is difficult to find consumer grade laptops that even offer anti-glare screens, let alone FHD screens. Hence, for $100 is definitely a worthy upgrade. I hate the glossy screens.

Nothing at all, its a decent deal. My comment was just me assuming that it was a typo for the resolution. My mistake

Typo for resolution? In the name of the processor? A12 9720p?

is it possible to add both an SSD and HDD to this config? Or alternatively does anyone know a good laptop that has a primary SSD and also a 1TB HDD? Resolution isn't a big deal

Not sure, but adding a 2.5" HD takes less than 10min.

How is the processor? I am unfamiliar with AMD, would this be comparable to intel i5 7th gen?

Yup, with a better GPU for gaming.
