Subway - $2 subs - Decembers Customer Appreciation Month - YMMV

The deal: $2 Cold Cut or Meatball Marinara 6 inch subs. Starts today Nov 27th thru Dec 31st. No coupon required, YMMV depending on individual location.

I've posted this every year Subway does it during December since 2011. Just got another flier in the mail today. I think they skipped December 2016, but happy to see its back for Dec 2017. It's the best deal they do all year, provided you're ok with those types of subs. From my experience the employees are cool about letting you order a cold cut without the meat if you just want the veggies on it.

Here's the thread from 2012 talking about individual experiences https://slickdeals.net/e/5595586-subway-2-subs-december-s-customer-appreciation-month-ymmv

Get over yourself and poor or not. You can feed your family healthier food at home for cheaper. The food there is literally garbage.
It's little off topic, but true.
Subway is a highly processed fast food. Comparable to McDonald's. Maybe a little better, but not great for you.
If you enjoy it, then it's great. Don't justify it as healthy, that's all.

You literally get to choose what's in your food at Subway, so you make it as deliciously healthy or deliciously unhealthy as you like. Sure, the bread's a carb and it's not good to eat a footlong sub bun on a daily basis, but the veggies on my sub aren't highly processed and are pretty darn healthy for a quick serve place. They're definitely far better for you than any option at McDonald's...and not "garbage" as the trolls who pop out of the woodwork always run to "warn" us when a Subway deal comes along.

Does the flat bread really work with the meatballs? I hate their normal bread, but their flat bread is awesome. Can't go wrong for a meatball $4 footlong...

This deal was so popular when they ran it back in 2014 that none of the locations in So Cal near me were participating any of the years after that.
