I have had this Monitor for about 2 weeks on one of my kids machines (i5 6500 + 1060 GTX).

I have it wall mounted, connected via displayport and viewing distance in that setup is around 26-30 inches. The color replication is quite good, as expected from a AUO IPS panel. It replaced a Dell U2709 and the Monoprice monitor is brighter than the Dell by about 10%. The matte coating on this panel can be seen more than the one in the Dell. I also have a Dell U3014 and the matte on the Monoprice is more visible in the corners than the Dell and is more susceptible to other light sources like sunlight from a window. It seems the coating on this panel is less matte than the Dell U series, but more visible at angles of that makes sense. It doesn't take away from the monitor in anyway, just different.

The performance of this Monitor is as good as I have seen on a 4K 60hz panel. It has freesync 1 from 60-30 Hz. It had very low input lag, but it's not on par with 144hz gaming monitors. It does have HDR and that worked will with the Xbox one. HDR10 on windows is not there yet.

Overall this is a great panel for photo work and mine hasn't had any color calibration issues with settings not sticking.

Damn. Bought this for $400 on Thursday. Does Monoprice refund the difference?

I concur, too good to be true?
Im looking for phot editing screen.
comments say it supports 100%rgb.....so tempting given ive been looking at higher end 27" qhd's.
this is 32 " ips and 4k, and <$400
im just a photo hobbyist anyway.....not like my job depends on accuracy. I have x1 calibration set up from previous slick deal too.

2ms response time, pretty good despite 60Hz.

Can't tell if this is true 10-bit or 8bit + FRC. The contrast ratio is good, but brightness is too low for HDR.

So on the fence about getting two of these for a sick work setup...
Complaints of light bleed in the reviews though.

If anyone has this monitor, would y'all mind posting a little review of how it compares to other monitors/etc?

I can't find ANYTHING on this thing. The only thing holding me off.

So is 400 actually the normal price or should I expect a price bump after the holidays?
