CostCo has the iBuyPower C-i20 currently for $300 off.

Going with absolutely cheapest components for the same build hovers around $1699 from pcpartpicker (not sure if it has liquid cooling or not, so I went with a cheap air cooler for pricing): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P2RcWX

Has the added benefit of the concierge extended warranty and the 90 return policy to any CostCo location.

Interesting and tempting. The price is good through 12/24. I will have to wait and check it out at the warehouse... if it ever shows up there. Hopefully there will be some reviews for it in the next couple of weeks.

If this was 1080 ti, I would have purchased in a heart beat. 1080 is OK deal.

Good deal, but any Gtx less than 1080Ti is useless for 1440p at 144hz refresh rate. Even 1080Ti is not consistence in putting 60hz @ 4K resolution. Waiting it out till Volta or whatever they have release next year

Yep, I knew it wasn't the best possible deal, but saw that it was very close to part cost and wanted to share in case anyone was in the market at this price range.

If you compare to the BF Alienware Deal, it was $1000 for i7-8700, 8GB, 1T and 1080. Now if you add another $50 for i8700K, Another $200-$300 for 1T SSD + 2T, Another $250 for extra 24 GB DDR4 Ram, and another $200 for 4 years of warranty. Dell charged $240 for 4 year warranty, and you get this automatically with Costco. This actually puts you right around $1700-1800. Obviously most people won't buy extended warranty unless it's free.

The Alienware sold out in like 2 seconds.

You gotta keep waiting. Nvidia won't release any consumer cards with huge jump in perfomance while 1080 and 1080 Ti are selling like hot cakes. Enterprise cards is a different story with machine learning demands jumping huge

Try to build one yourself with all of this and the 1080 ti and you'll spend more.

I am trying to build one with only the 1050 ti,due to not being a gamer, and probably regular 8700, much smaller SSD, much smaller HDD, and even for MINE with discounts it will be close to $1k.

Yeah, and I'm sure it's another of their in store only deals, and most people live nowhere near one. I don't think there's one even within 500 miles of me.

They're a special case, due to sometimes selling for losses.
