If you are interested in these products, please read the description fully. There are certain devices that incompatible with this cord (Huawei Mate 9/P10, MOTO Z/Z Force, One Plus 3).

When the product arrived I was pleased to see the familiar blue and white packaging. One small thing I noticed, which I really appreciate, was the new frustration free sticker on the box. It was super easy to open, no need for a knife or scissors!

The advantage of USB-C charging is it faster and safer. Anker wraps their cables in double braided nylon, which makes them REALLY tough. I opted for the dark gray cords over the red ones. They look very professional. My only suggestion to Anker would be to make a gray wall charger to match this color (I currently only have black and white).

6 ft is the ideal length for me. Not too long, not too short. They also come with a little velcro tab to keep the cords bundled when you aren't using them. This is a nice add-on, but I tend to lose these pretty quickly.

These do support Qualcomm Quick Charge, for those of you interested in that.

As I mentioned before, I highly recommend Anker's PowerLine+ cords. Not only are they great products, but they are made by a company who will stand behind their products. If for whatever reason the product fails on you, Anker will make it right.

Why are these so expensive? They're not even USB 3.0. More expensive than the normal price of other brands.

Lightning doesn't use USB 3.0 to begin with, so that would be overkill.

Anker advertises its cables as being super tough and I believe they're backed with a lifetime guarantee. I personally like 'em and think $6.79 is a good price.

Edit: I was wrong, the 2015 iPad Pro was the first to utilize USB 3.0 Lightning, three years after the Lightning standard was deployed.. Not sure how much this changes the equation though.

Good to know. I was actually talking about the USB-c cables for 10 bucks. There are tons of braided type c cables on slickdeals regularly.

Why is it so hard for OP to put "@ Amazon" in the title. Not all of us have Prime.
