Have had this product for almost a year now, both handles have ripped, one taking out all of the plastic cover on the side :/

This model is somewhat more innovative with tie-down straps and sturdy panels to secure it place anywhere in the car. It is a best seller on both Amazon and Ebay typically for around $24 each. There are several low end competitors that can be purchased for under $15, yes.

Handles have been reinforced after a batch was identified by the factory as inadequate. Warranty to cover your defect even a year later, would be happy to help if you want to get in touch.

Decided to buy two of these -- one for me, one for a gift. Good reviews swung it, plus the 15% discount effectively made the second one about $12.

Didn't know they make these. I've been using a cardboard box.

The nice thing about the one the OP posted for sale on Ebay is that it has adjustable straps to secure it in the trunk so that it doesn't slide around. I found the one you're referring to on Harbor Freight [harborfreight.com] but I can't tell from the sole picture if it has something similar. Can you elaborate on whether the Harbor Freight organizer has tie down straps? If so I might go to HF this weekend & get one.

contains eyelets and loops to enable securing in place.

the one from harbor freight doesn't come with side straps and only have 2 sections
with $5 saving, it should be a easy DIY fix.
but the one on Ebay from this deal
does look like much neater from HF.

HF one does the job for me though, i have carpet mate in my trunk
so it barely slides at all, even sometimes I had to brake hard.

That helps make my decision, thank you.
