Should be the same tool as GearWrench, SK etc. Those are $30+ sold online. So I thought this is a good deal. It is a pity that the small and medium pliers are no longer available. BTW, how is this new design relative to the old and trusted design? Thanks.

Good price on what seems like a decent tool.

Just an FYI, this one is made in China.

The feedback here is pretty lukewarm. But it is now out of stock. Guess the deal is not that bad after all.

Get an adjustable locking pair of pliers. Put 2 pieces of hose over the ends. Use. profit.

The pliers came in last night in a plain white paper box. It is a USA-made tool. Apparently it is a old stock and no longer available now.

I have both. That new craftsman is about half the size, more comparable to the medium of the old craftsman hose pinch pliers.

The old style can spring open fairly easily in my experience. If you really want it closed for sure you have to zip tie the handles.

I like the positive locking on new style (Looks like the same design as the OTC 4510 3-piece pliers set [sears.com]) which might be a better deal $37 at posting
