Nice deal.

Be warned though, with a 12" mattress, this thing is really high off the ground.. had to buy steps for my pooch to get up, might be difficult for some.

That being said, debating on getting one for the guest room because it is only a 6" mattress..

If you are on the bigger side of the spectrum I recommend the heavy duty Zinus frame, it costs more, but you won't have to deal with eventually breaking it (either bending or breaking different metal parts.)

Or, if you and your ol lady do some heavy duty pounding.

Have one of these and love it.

Commenters are correct these max out at around 400 pounds vor combined weight. Above that and the wires do break.

My daughter and her husband have the heavy version with metal slats instead of wires.

They are also right that this is a bit high with modern tall mattresses. The other problem is 14" is not tall enough for most bins. For them 16" is better. I know even harder to get in the bed. I have managed to find some collapsable containers that fit easily under the bed. The biggest advantage of them a lot of storage space under the bed.

The bed will not move easily with storage under it of course.

I don't know about that one the other poster mentioned, but this frame reminded me of something we bought at Sam's several years ago (I don't think we even thought to check what weight it would hold, but looks like it's high if the one I found now is the same as what we have -- our order history doesn't go back far enough that I can find the exact one). Here is one [samsclub.com] similar to what we got that a reviewer says holds 2400 pounds and it's 18 inches high, so plenty of room for storage underneath and will work well with a thinner mattress. Costs more than this deal, but still not a bad price and certainly worth it if you're worried about durability.

I think this is the one [samsclub.com] we got (but in queen); looks the same but only 14 inches high (which does fit storage bins for us, though I may have bought the "under-the-bed" bins which are a couple of inches shorter than regular bins). This one says it: "Supports up to 2400 lbs. of evenly distributed weight."

It is a fair amount more, but it is a lot better quality. It has 2 feet in the middle instead of 1 and there is a little better design so you don't stub your toes as much. Also the supports for the feet are designed better so you can fit more under it.
