I was at my local Bed Bath & Beyond yesterday just to see if they happened to have any lightstrip extensions in stock...the last time I was in, a couple weeks earlier, they had one that was an open box/return. This time they have a new 20% discount on top of the 50% off - they did not have any on the shelf, but they had a bunch in their electronics/security box by the door along with plenty of other philips hue stuff

Here are the discounted prices
Lightstrip Plus Extension - $11.99
Personal Wireless Light - $39.99
A19 Bulb $39.99
Lightstrip Plus Base $71.99
A19 Starter Kit $119.99

obviously the standouts being the lightstrip extension and the personal wireless light. Again, these are YMMV, but I have attached my receipt so you can possibly price match/get cc to match. I know there have been Bed Bath and Beyond posts about the deal for $14.99, but not with the additonal 20% off discount they currently have and according to my BB&B, they just got new lights in. Again, YMMV, but receipt attached if that can help.

One of these, a Philips Go - https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Portable-Dimmable-Compatible-Assistant/dp/B00UVHAC1O/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1... [amazon.com]

I thought about it since they had them in stock, but the listing shows a 3 hour wireless charge time and I can't see myself bringing a light around the house with me for mood lighting

They are worth the $40. I have a few and would buy more at that price.

What do you use them for if you don't mind me asking? I was tempted to get one just to try, but couldn't decide if it was something for like a nightstand or the living room/TV area and I really don't see myself using it wirelessly often so I just picked up a few lightstrip extensions

I can order online for in store pickup but price for extension is showing $30. Is there a coupon that can be applied online?

Unfortunately, this is an in-store deal only...they don't have the philips hue deals online

I use them as mood lighting during movies, outside if we need light for parties, the kids love taking them around changing the colors. They have a candle light mode that's actually pretty cool. I use it when we have fires in the house for that extra effect. I use one as a night light to come on with a motion sensor for my wife since she works nights and comes home to the pitch black darkness of the apartment.

Had one at the BB&B by my office. Said $79.99 but rang up as $49.99. Could not use a 20% coupon. Still bought it anyway, better price than anywhere else I have seen it and if I don't like it I'll return it...

Thanks OP!

I love my Hue Go light, and thought it'd be a waste of money until it actually arrived.

Back when these were first on sale at BB&B for $50, my local store was out of stock and they ordered it online for me. Free home shipping, and they adjusted the price to the sale price.

man now I may have to see if they still have any left and grab one to try...do you just use it as like a nightstand lamp? is it bright enough for reading? I get the cool factor of having it behind a tv and being able to have the lighting match what's on tv, but I guess I'm wondering if it's more useful than that or just something cool to have for mood lighting

so far the philiips hue lightstrip I installed under the kitchen cabinets is my favorite part of the philips hue system so far and it's really mostly for cool factor/mood lighting...so that's not necessarily a downside for me, just wondering and trying to figure out what I'd use it for

My local Bed Bath and Beyond(s) still have some clearance stuff in-store (Denver CO metro area). Couple days ago I got three of the dimmer button and 800 lumen white combos for $20 each. It is the older model bulb but that is $10 per bulb and $10 per dimmer switch. I got cuz I wanted several of the dimmer button pads. They had other stuff reduced on the yellow sheet.

Still worth popping into stores if convenient, just to check.

Any idea if these in-store clearances/deals are still going on? Just got into the Hue ecosystem this Christmas and wanted to get some lightstrip extensions, and now I kinda want that Go. Big Grin
