Do people who like legos also tend to like these? My 6 year old loves playing with legos but we've never tried K'Nex.

I liked both when I was a kid. If you like building things you'll probably enjoy both. K'nex are more work though

I'm going to get these for my 5 yr old nephew who loves building things constantly. I remember enjoying them for yrs and yrs because of the wide range of opportunities with them from basic to more technical and advanced.

The hard briefcase type storage is better than the cardboard one that comes with other knex sets. Much better than stepping on these when you least expect.

I think the difference is the storage suitcase. One is plastic and the other one is cardboard.
