This is a decent deal only because it's at Costco where you get better warranty, returns, and service than other stores. But of course, you have to be a member.

Otherwise, the Target/Amazon deal for $408 yesterday has been the best price so far for a brand new unit. Don't forget the Costco online $25 off $250 coupon to sweeten this deal if you have it!

This is a good deal -- especially if you want one right now. But, wow, talk about being LATE to Black Friday & not doing much at all. Does Samsung care about this model? It was 100% sad that I could buy an iPad Pro 10.5" 64GB for the same price as this, during Black Friday. Dell has had a couple promotions for $499 + a $100 gift card in the past. I think that kind of "trained" the market to expect around $400 (but of course, its a gift card)... so I wish this was $400.

Good price if you need one now.

Does anyone think this will go lower? I really feel this thing should be $400, but Samsung is being delusional in their pursuit to chase the Apple cult. Android users are more flexible with brand manufacturers, and Apple makes its own system -- Samsung will never be Apple. The normal/regular price on this device is stupid.

[Personal Side-question: I don't even see Samsung really showcasing the Pen Functions of this product (Samsung enhanced their pens) for DRAWING, the way that Apple has done with the iPad Pro (which has the great Procreate or Notes apps). But at this cost, its more of a high-end art tool, otherwise, the S2 is just as good and probably the better buy. I'm an Android guy and really was interested in this Tab for replicating pencil sketching in between browsing and chatting, since paper pads and real pencils are just one more thing to carry if im anyway going to have a tablet with me, but the problem is I can't understand how it will be with pencil sketching simulation. The Samsung should be great for inking lines. For virtual ink -- i can tell, this is a GREAT tablet for drawing solid lines. But I really wish I could see some applications using this hardware for pencil sketch drawings, which Samsung clearly put time into developing looks like with virtual Pencil sketching (where you want it to look more like a tapered off edge, subtle graduations in line strength, rather than solid lines of different colors). It really looks like youre drawing with colored pencils, not thin ink lines, with the Apple. If anyone knows a video or images for the Samsung, please let me know. I personally hate the Apple environment and the lack of customization, etc. All their stuff has this juvenile look to it with big dumb icons and weird controls (okay, you get it, I prefer Android/PC). But drawing-wise, the iPad Pro seems great. Please share any links about Samsung's S3 for replicating replicating pencil-drawing, using the S-pen, if you have any vids or examples.]

Wow, sorry I missed that one. Thanks for the tip about the $25 coupon. I already got the iPad Pro, but your advice would have been helpful, if I was buying today. Repped.

Amazon and Target aren't stupid -- I consistently see Target selling technological (secretly, quietly) at prices lower than anyone else for one or two days at a time. If you watch an tech item, always check to see what Target is doing, they break MAP price temporarily and then quickly go back to regular price. Amazon is more obviously. But both those companies know this is a $400 tablet.

Personally, I'm 50/50 thinking it will be $400 again. Buy today if you need it, but this thing should have another promotion eventually.

I agree that samsung is not really promoting the s3's and ipads are being pushed this season. I do want the sketching and note taking capabilities, but prefer android. I'm disappointed I haven't seen more price drops on this or Tab A.

I assumed Tab A's would be good for some early clearance specials. Amazon raised Tab A price ($2) for BF. Not what I expected. Lol.

I've been waiting for months but sadly to see the Target's deal OOS when I woke up. Even $424 isn't ideal for me and I wish it were $404 without the $20 Google Play credit. If you can wait, I believe it can be lower in the near future. But if you need it now, it's still a good deal in my mind. For me, I'll travel to Oregon in December and that can save me 10% sales tax so I don't really want to wait for a $400 device but paying $40 tax.

Were you still able to get the coupon I got this reply from them "If you are contacting Costco for the Ecommerce offer of $25 off $250 or more promotion code, this promotion was distributed October 1 - October 31, 2017. We are no longer providing promotion codes. If you already have a promotion code please know they are valid through December 31, 2017."

I was able to get one two days ago but wasn't to get one yesterday. However, if you search in SD, you can find some coupon codes in threads like https://slickdeals.net/f/10927791-happy-holidays-sd-costco-25-off-250-coupons.
