Stop feeding your dog carbs and you won't need this.

Would you please explain? That's like saying if you don't eat carbs you don't need to brush your teeth. To make sure we're all on the same page, there ARE reduced weight-specific Greenies but as a whole the product is for dental and gum health.

I feed my dogs raw (on a diet that's been peer reviewed by a handful of vets) but they absolutely benefit from greenies. I only have anecdotal experience to back this up but permanently have two dogs, foster another 20-30 per year and have done a fair bit of research into these and various canine diets and commercial food products.

I stopped giving my dog these due to the horror stories of dogs not chewing them up good enough and choking on them. People rushing their pets to the vet because a piece is lodged in their dog's throat.

Is this a one off and rare? I want to give them to my dog for the oral health benefits but worry about the side effect of death. Anyone care to chime in? Thanks.

Haven't gone through the dog ones but wish the cat ones didn't give my cat diarrhea. Started noticing that every time I scooped her litter, her poop would always break apart and smear all over the scooper despite the strong clumping action and hours has gone by.

The first sign of it all was when my cat gotten all gassy on me. When I pick her up, she would fart. Took me 3 days to realize that the Greenies was the cause of it so just discarded 95% of the bag. Hope this works out for your pets however but this was my experience with it.
